It was a beach restaurant. Quite literally, it was on the beach. Well, above it, technically. Still, they were having a nice relaxing night out away from the kids with the sea breeze blowing, the waves crashing, people lounging on the strand, kids playing in the water. They can’t recall now how the topic came up, but they were discussing how they were glad they had each other and how it would suck to have to date now. He was never too keen on backing down from a dare, especially one he thought might be fun. He asked her if she really wouldn’t mind. She said he could even go out on some dates. “I don’t get jealous.”
“What if someone wanted to sleep with me?” he asked.
“If you can,” she said, nonchalantly.
